History and folklore surround the objective “arks” of the Bible. These arks are connected to three biblical sagas: The Great Deluge of Noah, the Exodus from Egypt (the “ark” of Moses) and the wilderness wanderings of Israel, and finally, the later history of Israel (the “Ark of the Covenant”) leading into the Christ Event in Palestine. These biblical “ships of salvation” have significance in understanding God’s purposes, both in their place in history, but also in their relationship to Christ Jesus and the immediate future as well. This book explores the meaning of these “arks” and argues for the historical validity of the events attached to them and the informative value behind the stories they tell.
